My dog, Bruno, was not feeling up to par and I was away so my dog sitter came to Hampton Park via a recommendation from a neighbor and they took unbelievable care of him. The respect and courtesy of the staff was extraordinary and they continued to check up on him after the appointment was completed. I feel blessed to have found such a great Vet in our new home.

Moving with a pet is stressful, moving out of the country with a pet is a million times harder. I found Hampton Park Vet while searching for credible offices that could assist in getting my husky’s paperwork together for our move to Europe. There was a slight mixup with his microchip number, and Jennifer, a nurse tech at the office responsible for the paperwork for Heath Certificates, went above and beyond to fix the issue immediately. With the certificate only being valid for 10 days after receiving, it’s an incredibly time sensitive situation- so of course I had another mix up with my flight and called Jennifer in a panic. She did absolutely everything she could to ensure we got our paperwork in time (even with the beginning of the government shut down!) and we were both able to safely make it to Spain. I cannot recommend Hampton Park Vet enough, but specifically Jennifer who was an absolute angel throughout the whole process. I’ve had trouble in the past finding a good vet that I trust with my baby, and truly wish I had found Hampton Park sooner. If you’re needing a Heath Certificate in order to travel with your pet, I HIGHLY recommend working with Hampton Park Vet. Throughout all my panic of issues arising right before we left, I made sure to tell everyone I talked to about how amazing Jennifer was. She’s clearly someone who loves her job, animals, and helping their patients and I genuinely could not be more grateful for what she did for Ghost and I. Thank you a million times over Jennifer, you truly have no idea how appreciative I am. If we’re ever back in Charleston in need of vet care, I know exactly where we’re going!

I cannot recommend this clinic enough! I’ve been bringing my dog, Betty, here for a year now, and the level of care is unmatched. The staff is incredibly patient, and the vets truly take the time to listen to my concerns. Betty actually wags her tail when we walk through the door, which says it all. Thank you for treating her like family!

Couldn’t be happier! I have lived here for 4 years and this vet has the best hours/days for downtown and the people are wonderful. My lab and French bulldog get the most comfortable experience.. to the point where they are excited to go. Best and most caring vet. Highly recommend!

Jennifer, Molly and Dr Baxter are amazing and take such good care of my dog. He is always so calm and feels safe and cared for while we’re at the vet. You can tell they really care about their animals here :)

I recently brought my dog into the clinic and had a really excellent experience overall. From the moment we walked in, the entire team was welcoming, professional, and clearly dedicated to providing high-quality care. The clinic itself is clean, well-organized, and has a calm atmosphere that immediately put both me and my dog at ease. Dr. Baxter and Dr. V were both outstanding. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt confident about my dog’s care plan. It’s clear they’re not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely compassionate about the animals they treat. I never felt rushed, and their attention to detail really stood out. Molly was also wonderful—she was gentle, patient, and helped keep my dog calm during the visit, which I really appreciated. Overall, this clinic goes above and beyond in terms of care, communication, and professionalism. I’m very grateful for the experience and would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate veterinary clinic.

We have been going to Hampton Park Vet ever since we brought home our sweet boy Onyx! He is now 9 months old and we cannot walk past this place without stopping by so he can see all his friends!! Everyone there has been so amazingly friendly. Especially Jennifer! They always get us in even for minor concerns. And most importantly, I’ve never felt pressured to give my puppy more than he needs. I will always go to Hampton Park Vet as long as I’m in Charleston!!

I have been to many vets over the years since I’ve lived in Charleston and Hampton Park Veterinary is hands down my favorite. The doctor is always gentle with my pups and is so kind and answers questions without rushing me. My dog Benson also loves Jennifer and how she gives her lots of affection. Jennifer is always so helpful and really just nice to talk to in general. She’s so sweet! We’re always in and out within half an hour too which is fantastic if you’ve got an anxious fur baby. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience at Hampton Park Vet with Leo! They were able to get us in same day, which I really appreciated. The entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Dr. Baxter and Jennifer were especially wonderful! They were so attentive, patient, and genuinely sweet with Leo, which made me feel completely at ease. You can tell they truly care about the animals they treat and go out of their way to make both pets and owners feel comfortable. They even sent us home with a little goodie bag with treats and a Kong, which Leo is already obsessed with! Such a thoughtful touch. I am so happy we found this place and would highly recommend Hampton Park Vet to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and responsive team!

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Hampton Park Vet, Dr. Baxter, and the entire staff. When our Great Dane, Tucker, went missing, it was one of the most stressful and heartbreaking experiences. After he was thankfully found, their team went out of their way to reach out and offer their services free of charge to make sure he was okay. That level of compassion and community support meant more to us than we can put into words. Because their clinic is conveniently located downtown, it made getting Tucker in quickly so much easier. He was still understandably nervous and shaken up after everything he had been through, but Dr. Baxter and the staff were incredibly patient, gentle, and intentional about earning his trust. You could truly see how much they care. They performed a thorough exam, checking his skin, ears, and overall condition to ensure he hadn’t been hurt or developed any issues while he was missing. At no point did we feel rushed — just supported. As a rescue, we work with a lot of veterinary teams, and Hampton Park Vet truly stands out. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for animals are unmatched. We are beyond grateful for how they showed up for Tucker and for us during such a scary time. We could not recommend them highly enough. 🐾
